Seamless, Welded and Everything in Between
The seamless versus welded decision is a cost-versus-pressure decision. Welded pipe (ERW/SSAW) covers structural and low-pressure applications at $540-550/ton FOB. Seamless pipe (A106, A53 Gr.B) covers high-pressure and mechanical applications at $640-700/ton. If your specification allows welded, there is no reason to pay the seamless premium; if it requires seamless, we source from mills with proper heat treatment and hydrostatic test records.
We supply line pipe to API 5L for pipeline projects, and structural hollow sections to EN 10219 for European construction.
